How to maintain your shoes

Maintaining your shoes properly can increase their lifespan, keep them in good condition and save you money in the long run.

Here are some tips for maintaining your shoes:

1. Regular Cleaning: Clean your shoes regularly to remove dirt, dust and residue. Use a soft brush or damp cloth to clean the surface and corners.

2. Proper Storage: Store your shoes in a cool, dry and ventilated place. Use shoe racks or shelves to keep your shoes organized and prevent deformation.

3. Use Shoe Molds: To prevent your shoes from losing their shape, use shoe molds or paper inserts to maintain their internal shape when not in use.

4. Rotation: Avoid wearing the same shoes every day. Rotation helps extend the life of each pair by allowing them to rest and air out between uses.

5. Protection from Rain and Moisture: Use raincoats or water-repellent sprays to protect your shoes from rain and moisture. When shoes get wet, let them dry naturally away from direct heat.

6. Specific Cleaning: Some types of shoes require specific cleaning. Leather shoes can be treated with leather cleaning products, while sneakers can be hand washed with mild soap.

7. Care for Heels and Soles: Keep your heels in good condition, avoiding walking on rough or uneven surfaces that could damage them.
